Sky Money

Sky Money was built using the Vignette content management system - a WebSphere, JSP-based system. A new server architecture was built to host the site and a new development environment created.

Chubbyfish were responsible for the client side build and designing the content management system applications layer.

The site is a portlet-style site run using JSP modules for each content-type. JSP modules fit together with a custom grid architecture and CSS layered on this for layout. A global JavaScript layer controls interaction which is primarily run using jQuery.

The site conforms to WatchFire AA accessibility standards and degrades gracefully due to its layered nature.
